PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) is a high molecular polymer formed by the polymerization of tetrafluoroethylene (C₂F₄). It has high performance of chemical resistance, corrosion resistance and high & low temperature resistance. PTFE is anti-corrosion towards almost all chemical corrosive medium, such as acid, base, oxidizing agent and organic solvent. PTFE material can be used under extreme temperature condition (-200℃ - +260℃). It has smooth surface, a low coefficient of friction, and good lubrication properties, which helps reduce wear. Meanwhile, PTFE is environmentally friendly and safe, it can reach food and medical standard. Usually, PTFE materials are widely used in industries such as chemical equipment, machinery, electronics and electrical, food and pharmaceutical, aerospace and military.
PTFE metal hose is a kind of composite hose consisting of outer stainless steel mesh and PTFE inner tube structure. It combines both the strength and pressure resistance of metal hose, as well as the corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and chemical resistance of PTFE material. PTFE metal hose also has advantages of low coefficient of friction, high pressure & tensile strength, and good flexibility. It is widely used in the fields of chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries for conveying liquids or gases.
